ISO is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization. We are ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 both standards achieved approval in December 2012 and ISO 45001 approved in September 2021.
Our Quality Management System has been established as the basic approach for gaining customer satisfaction and confidence. By implementing a quality system, Paramount Safety Products is ensuring that customers’ satisfaction and quality of products are always considered first.

What is ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems?

ISO 9001 sets out the steps necessary to adopt a quality management system.  It is designed to help organisations ensure they meet the needs and expectations of both customers and other interested parties, based on internationally recognised quality management principles set out by the International Standards Organisation (ISO).

At the heart of the standard is a quality policy and set of systems and principles that tie together business objectives, customer needs and your marketing plan.  When this approach to quality is embedded across the business every employee understands how their actions create a better customer experience and processes are put in place to continually review and improve that customer experience.

What is ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems?

Part of the ISO 14001 family of international standards covering environmental impact and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, ISO 14001 is the standard that covers the design and implementation of an Environment Management Systems (EMS). This is a framework designed to measure and improve the way natural resources are used and disposed of by an organisation.
ISO 14001 certification shows an organisational commitment to the environment and the more effective use of the world’s resources. ISO 14001 will reduce waste, costs and risk.

What is ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety?

ISO 45001 is the world's international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. ISO 45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable harm or that pose a danger to workers' physical and/or mental well-being.

Environmental

It is important to us to ensure we are taking steps to reduce the environmental impact. To prove our commitment as responsible corporate citizens. We have achieved compliance to the most internationally recognized environmental standard, ISO 14001.

We are committed to managing our impact on the environment, through continual environmental improvement and pollution prevention and compliance to legal environmental legislation and regular compliance audits.

Ensuring we are doing everything we can to protect the environment is something we take seriously, and compliance to the internationally recognized environmental standard, ISO 14001, is part of this. We encourage and stress to our trusted sources throughout the world to continuously seek and employ strict recycling policies.

You can easily do your part for the environment too, you can:

• Use a lower temperature wash which uses less energy
• Wash garments regularly - don’t wait until the garments are filthy as washing a filthy garment requires more energy to clean
• Use eco-friendly detergents
• Discard the garment appropriately when it is worn out, not with other industrial/construction waste
